Pedestrian and bicycle bridge in Mechtenberg
An interesting pedestrian and bicycle bridge was built in the nature park Mechtenberg near Gelsenkirchen, designed by architect Frei Otto. Cliffwalk at Vancouver, British Columbia's Capilano Suspension Bridge uses X-TEND© Stainless Steel Cable Mesh
Opening in June, 2011, Cliffwalk consists of suspended walkways jutting out from a granite cliff face above Capilano River. Engineered by Kent LaRose of Morrison Hershfield, these high and narrow walkways using X-TEND© railing infills in mesh width 60/2mm allow visitors to walk safely above the canyon below.[more]
